Win "Best GLBT History Month Exhibit 2009!"
Equality Forum, in collaboration with the Gay, Lesbian and Straight Education Network (GLSEN), is sponsoring a national GSA contest for Best GLBT History Month Exhibit.
Just send us photos of your creative use of the resources on this site.
How to Enter
Print out the PDF Icon bios, images and other resources to create an exhibit at your school. Visit the resources page to access additional Icon materials.
Take up to three (3) photos of your display.
Send us an e-mail with the following information:
- Your school and GSA name
- City, state, zip
- Contact name
- E-mail address
- Description of your celebration (maximum 50 words)
- Your photos (maximum 3) attached as PDF or JPEG files
Deadline for Submissions
Entries must be submitted by e-mail to chip@equalityforum.com by Sunday, November 1 at midnight.
Selecting the Winner
GLSEN will review submissions and select the winning exhibit.
The winner will be announced with photos posted on the GLSEN and GLBT History Month Web sites on Friday, November 20.
Prize
A representative of the winning GSA with his/her parent or guardian will be invited to attend Equality Forum 2010 and receive:
- VIP Pass
- Air or train tickets
- Hotel accommodations for two nights, April 30 and May 1, 2010, in Philadelphia
- Invitation to participate as a panelist on the 13th annual National Youth Panel
- Invitation to the International Equality Dinner at the National Constitution Center on May 1
- Best GLBT History Month Exhibit Award presented at the International Equality Dinner
